Admissions University Montessori School has a non-discriminatory admissions policy for children who are two years of age through kindergarten age. Parents who are interested in their child attending our school should complete and return the application form below as soon as possible. Parents are encouraged to visit the school to see the facility, meet the teachers, and observe the classes in action. Please call the office to make an appointment. If you have any questions, please to not hesitate to call. The Admissions Process When we receive an application and application fee, your child is immediately placed on our enrollment list. Please note that applications are processed in the order which they are received. The earlier we receive your childs application, the greater the chances that your child will be offered a spot. Order of Admission: There are three phases to our admissions process: Phase One: Siblings and children of alumni are accepted first. In order to receive sibling or alumni priority. Application must be received by December 1st. Phase Two: Re-enrollment of current students continues until March 25th. Phase Three: As spaces become available, new students are accepted on a first come, first serve basis. Once a space is offered, parents have two weeks to accept the spot. If your child is not accepted for the year applied, we will contact you in November to see if you would like your child to remain on our enrollment list. Tuition Schedule The tuition amounts listed below are for the entire nine month school year. The deposit is deducted from the total tuition due. The tuition balance is preferably paid in three equal payments due June 30, October 31, and January 31. If two or more children from the same family are enrolled in the school, the tuition balance may be divided into four equal payments, the additional due date bing March 15. Extended Care On days the school is open, extended care hours are available from 7:30am to 8:30am and 2:30pm to 5:30pm. Every child at University Montessori School is welcome in the extended care program. Extended care rates are $5.50 per hour. Children who are in the half-day class may stay any afternoon. The charge for an afternoon is $21.00 ($22.00 for the toddler class). Extra charges are billed at the end of every month and are due upon receipt of invoice.
